What my Daily Makeup Routine Looks like
Products I use:
- One Love Skin Saviour Moisturizer
I apply a small amount with my fingers all over the face.
- Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer
I apply an even amount with my fingers all over the face, establishing a more even skin tone.
- Benefit Porefessional
I apply this product with my fingers where my pores are most evident. (Cheek, Nose, Forehead) This takes away any shine as well as filling in my pores so they become less visible.
- Cover FX Cream Foundation
I apply only in areas that need more coverage with a foundation brush, and then blend in with my fingers (the warmth from my fingers helps melt and blend the product into my skin). Some days more is needed! This helps me accomplish an even skin tone, covering any redness or blemish.
- Makeup Forever HD Powder
I apply evenly all over the face with my larger powder brush to get rid of any shine and to set my makeup for the day. The powder will help keep my makeup foundation in place for the day as well as giving me a matte finish.
- Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Apply evenly all over the face in 3 motion on each side of the face with my large powder brush. As well as one soft swipe down the center of the face. I dip my brush in the powder and tap off excess powder so I give myself a soft glow and not a floating head(where my face is a different colour from my neck).
- Nars Dolce Vita Blush
I smile and apply with my blush brush on my cheek bones swiping towards my ear. I dip my brush in the powder and tap off excess product so I don’t give myself a harsh application on my cheeks. I just want a soft pink, nothing too extreme. If I happen to apply too much I simply take my large powder brush and blend it in making it look natural.
- Nars Satellite of Love Highlighter
Apply a soft amount of product with my blush brush on my high cheek bone giving me a nice glow. (If you are prone to shine I wouldn’t recommend this product, as it adds shine)
- Smashbox Brow Tech
I take my brow brush, I dip into the lighter colour first, following the darker colour, tap off, and apply very softly starting from the front of my brow and pulling through to the end. I want a natural brow that looks enhanced, not drawn on and dramatic.
- Annabelle Black Pencil Liner
I take the pencil and line in on the bottom water line. ( If you are to do this, make sure you do not cover the tear dock)
- Cover Girl Lash Blast Very Black Mascara
I apply two coats evenly to both top lashes and lightly brush my bottom lashes with whatever is left on my brush.
- Smith’s Rosebud Salve
I use my finger and apply a small amount to my lips to help moisturizer and rub it in.
