August | Ipsy Glam Bag

Hello my loves,

Yesterday I was so excited to come home to find my lovely August Ipsy Glam Bag in my mailbox! Mondays are generally a drag once the weekend ends, so this glam bag was exactly what I needed to perk up my day! I have to say I’m quite excited about this bag, I’m eager to try almost every product in the bag. Plus the bag itself is really cute, perfect for traveling!

Pixi Lash Booster Mascara in Blackest Black|$18.00:

IMG_8245“This unique mascara truly boosts your lashes, giving them a “push-up” effect that lasts all day. The dense, rich formula coats lashes with maximum pigment, for long-lasting full color and the cone-shaped brush coats each lash evenly.”

I’m very excited to try this mascara because the brush twists so I feel like it will be very easy to apply to all lashes evenly.

NYX Blush Sand|$8.99:

IMG_8222“Adding a healthy glow to cheeks is effortless with the variety of blush styles and shades available from NYX Cosmetics! The NYX Powder Blush delivers sheer, silky color that glides on and blends beautifully creating a natural glow.”

This blush definitely does glide effortlessly onto the skin, I cannot wait to try this on my cheeks before the summer ends! It’s got a nice bronzed look to it, making the skin naturally glow.

Pacifica Alight Multi-Mineral BB Cream|$16.00:

IMG_8234“The Alight Multi-Mineral BB Cream hydrates, primes, illuminates, and perfects leaving a sheer bare skin finish. Specialized mineral pigments instantly adjusts to your skin shade allows one color to work for many and can be built up for just the right amount of coverage. Your skin will look natural, dewy, youthful and radiant without looking like you are wearing heavy make-up.”

I’m not a huge fan of BB creams but I am interested to try this one for sure! I really like the way it felt on my skin when I did a swatch of it and it blends in quite nicely from what I can see, I’m going to give it a try very soon!

Michael Todd Jojoba Charcoal Gentle Exfolianting Facial Scrub|$18.00:

IMG_8224“This mask effectively removes dead skin, impurities and toxins, but is gentle enough for sensitive and acne prone skin types. Jojoba Wax Beads provide gentle exfoliation without leaving microlacerations on delicate skin. Highly absorbent Activated Charcoal penetrates deeply into pores to draw out impurities and toxins. Also refines texture and encourages skin renewal, leaving skin smooth and refreshed.”

This exfoliating scrub feels great from what I can tell from the swatch I did on my hand. I’m very eager to try this product out, I absolutely adore the scent! It’s interesting too because it’s a dark colour for an exfoliant, which makes it’s easy for removal.

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick ‘Anarchy’|$22.00:

IMG_8233“Urban Decay’s Pigment Infusion System™ delivers insane color payoff with creamy shine, Maxi-Lip™ plumps and nourishing oils leave lips cushiony soft. Get the color you crave. Addictive to apply (and even more addictive to wear), this creamy formula glides on without dragging or skipping, hugs every curve and gives you a BIG laydown of color.”

Love love love this colour!! It is perfect for August so I cannot wait to rock this look and then probably go out and buy the full size! It’s texture is so creamy and shiny, it’s just great. I already love urban decay products, this product does not disappoint.
