60’s Glam Girl Makeup

My loves,

I have had some technical difficulties with my pictures over the last couple of days! I encourage you to take a look at my last few posts, so you can get a better idea of what I was talking about! Sorry for the lack of photos!

We’re running out of time as to what to be for Halloween! Have you decided yet? Well just in case you haven’t, here’s another look for you! 60’s glam girl, whether you’re being Edie Sedgwick or Twiggy, this is the look for you! I love 60’s makeup because it is so precise and clean looking.

24954_343354147247_2292384_nThis is another look that I actually used in a photo shoot for my portfolio. Sixties makeup is so fun and who doesn’t want to put on a short sparkly disco dress? I know I do!

What You’ll Need:

  • blue, purple or any bright eyeshadow
  • sparkly, long lashes
  • black liquid liner
  • pink blush and lipstick
  • a sparkly disco dress
  • funky hooped earrings

The lashes I used are from Makeup Forever of course, they really do have the best false lashes! These one’s are Fashion Eyelashes-112 and cost $18.00

fashion-eyelashes_25112On these particular lashes, there is glitter liner already applied to the lashes. So when you apply them to your eye lid you automatically have a perfectly sparkly liner. I love them!

Sixties makeup wasn’t really blended it, it was clean straight lines. As you can see in the above picture the crease line is thick and dark. The makeup was big and colourful in the sixties and I love it all. As well as black winged liner.

24954_343354117247_1666851_nIn the above picture you can see that I hand-painted lashes on the bottom lash line as well as applied a thin layer of black liner. It makes the eyes pop and look big. I had beautiful eye’s to work with as you can see, makes creating a crease like that, that much easier!

Now if you have long hair don’t you worry this model did too! I simply tucked her hair underneath, creating a bob! I then slicked it black with hair spray and gel! For more inspiration on makeup from the sixties here are a few pictures of Twiggy and Edie Sedgwick. Drawing lashed on the bottom lash line was extremely popular!

Laurelle, xo
