The Pink Cheetah

My loves,

Who says hot pink and bright purple isn’t in during the cold winter months? I say any colour is in at anytime of year! I had a client come in a couple weeks ago wanting super fun nails with bright colours. We brainstormed and brainstormed, we were throwing out ideas here and there… And finally we came up with this lovely design.

IMG_4691 IMG_4692 IMG_4693 IMG_4694I know it’s just your basic Cheetah Print but I think the colour combo we came up with is just fantastic! She really wanted to do purple and I was trying to push for gold or silver as the accent nail but she insisted on pink. I have to say she was right, the purple and pink combo with the gold Cheetah Print is pretty awesome!

To create this manicure I used CND’s new Vinylux Polish colours, Purple Purple and Tutti Frutti (for the accent nail) as well as Locket Love.

If you haven’t yet heard of Vinylux you definitely need to! It is a fantastic new polish without having to use any base coat! And it lasts longer than regular polish without having to use any light for curing. The polish actually strengthens it’s chip resistance over time!

Purple-Purple-bottle“VINYLUX™ Weekly Polish and Weekly Top Coat is a system uniquely designed to work together. Exposure to natural light secures the ProLight technology, creating an enduring, long-lasting polish. While ordinary polishes become brittle and deteriorate over time, VINYLUX dries naturally to a flawless finish and strengthens its resistance to chips over time.”

It is actually amazing! And as you can see you can create fun looks and colour combos with this lovely new nail system!

Have you tried CND’s Vinylux nail polish? What are you thoughts on this lovely colour combo for Cheetah Print?

Laurelle, xo
