With all the gift sets and holiday deals, I couldn’t help but treat myself to one of MAC’s lovely Stroke of Midnight Lip Bags. They just looked so enticing! As a Beauty Blogger I also really love gift sets because I can try more than one product for a great price!

This is such a great deal, if you haven’t already asked for it for Christmas get on that! For $39.95 you receive a full-sized lipstick and Cremesheen Glass, as well as a miniature sized lip pencil. It comes in a cute limited edition zippered bag.
ART OF SEDUCTION
Art of Seduction lip glass is described as a “cool nude with gold frost.” It’s a light beige with gold shimmer. I actually really loved this lip gloss and would wear it on it’s own. I’m going to lie I don’t generally like MAC lip gloss or glass at all. I tend to find them very sticky and difficult to wear. This one is quite nice, not sticky and looks great. Unfortunately it doesn’t last more than a few hours but it fades naturally. Overall, I really love this cremeshene lip glass and will probably purchase another one!
Vino lip liner is described as an “intense violet purple”. It is a dark burgundy with red undertones. Now this particular lip liner is a little disappointing because it tends to flake when applying. It’s very drying and doesn’t apply evenly. I found some spots were darker than others and it hard to even out the coverage. It wears really well lasting about 7-8 hours, but it’s not comfortable to wear as it’s very drying.
Dark Deed Lipstick is described as a “darkened blood red [with an amplified finish]”. Dark Deed is one of those lovely reds that actually swatches and looks like the lipstick itself. It’s a deep red with berry and brown tones. There is something super seductive about this lipstick. The coverage is some-what opaque, however you can get settling in the lip lines. It wears really well, without having to touch up consistently. I also didn’t find that it was drying at all which is always a plus with lipstick. It’s a perfect fall/winter colour.
After trying each product out separately I decided to combine all 3 together. When you combine all 3 products together it’s actually quite a beautiful combination. When you add the gloss on top of the lipstick it gives it that little something extra and takes away any drying you might have on your lips.
