It’s that terrible time of year when your skin is dry and lips are chapped and cracked. Well I have two amazing lip products to share with you today! They will save your dry/chapped lips and have them plump and moisturized in no time!
LUSH| Honey Trap Lip Balm
“For sweet, vanilla-honey kisses.”
“Lip Balm that makes you smile.”
“Honey Trap is filled with toning sweet orange and cooling peppermint to soothe dry, chapped lips. Rich honey moisturizes and melted white chocolate is part of that delectable flavor.”
This delicious lip balm is AMAZING! Honey Trap is one of LUSH’s best-sellers and I can totally see why! The oat milk calms and protects the sensitive skin on your lips. Your lips feel instantly moisturized after applying to your lips. It really melts onto yours lips. It smells exactly how you would expect it to, sweet like vanilla and honey. It’s so soft and easy to apply. It lasts a long time on the lips ensuring they stay moisturized and once worn off your lips are smooth and hydrated.
It also really helps dry, chapped lips if you use one of LUSH’s lovely lip scrubs before applying this lip balm. Click HERE to read about LUSH’s lip scrubs. That will ensure that your lips are extra moisturized! I don’t know if any of you have tried this lovely balm but I’m sold! I will definitely be purchasing again!
EOS| Sweet Mint Lip Balm:
“Twist off top. Pucker up. Smooth on. Smile.”
“Smooth on the refreshing essence of sweet mint and give your lips the moisture they crave.”
I have heard so many people rave about this lip balm that I just had to give it a try! I really quite enjoyed this lovely lip balm. I especially love the packaging and honestly I love the mint green colour of the container! This lovely balm contains Shea butter and Vitamin E. It provides long-lasting moisture and smooths on clear. It leaves a cool sensation on lips after applying, making your lips feel fresh.
I do really love this product, however I do find that I have to put quite a few layers of it on to feel like it’s working. My lips are definitely hydrated afterwards without leaving your lips feeling greasy. It provides a matte finish which is great if you want to wear a lip stain or lip stick over top!
Out of the two lip balms if I had to choose, I think I would have to go with LUSH’s Honey Trap lip balm. I feel like it quenches my dry lips much faster and I like that I can feel the product on my lips, it makes me feel like it’s working. Not to say I don’t like EOS Sweet Mint lip balm because I really do and would definitely purchase it again. Overall both great, Honey Trap would just have to be my favorite!
Have you tried either lip balm? If so which one is your favorite?
