Dark lip stick really makes a statement. It shows you are bold with a lot of confidence. Wearing a dark lip is commitment. You have to make sure it looks perfect all night and that you compliment the eyes.
My rule whenever I choose to wear a dark lipstick is keep the eyes simple. I generally will wear matte neutral colours and a winged liner. It makes your whole appearance look simple but you stand out in a crowd. My favorite dark lip is a deep dark purple, almost black. Now I won’t wear this dark of lip on a regular basis but it’s definitely one of my favorite looks. There is something seductive when you wear such a bold colour.
Bold Lips in the winter, gold mine. You will have heads turning. I’m telling you a deep dark purple, almost black perfect lip colour for these cold depressing winter months. Just remember to keep the eyes simple, you don’t want to look like a drag queen.
