This past weekend I took a little trip to lovely city of New York. I’ve been to New York a couple of times and it never disappoints. I love love love New York. Visiting New York is like falling in love over and over again. You always discover something new and you always revisit something familiar and wonderful. I shopped lots (of course!) fueling my shopping addiction. Ate lots of delicious food and walked lots to walk off all that delicious food! What I love most about New York, how fashionable it is! So I’m going to share with you one of my New York outfits.
A little hipster grunge for the streets of New York. I am absolutely obsessed with my red flannel shirt I bought from Artizia. I have been dying to find the perfect flannel shirt and since finding this one I cannot stop wearing it. First of all it’s crazy comfortable and you can wear it so many different ways! I love it. I’m also wearing leggings from Aritzia, they are my favorite leggings by far. They are very comfortable and affordable, I believe I paid $20.00 for these.
I had just purchased the sunglasses right before shooting these pictures from Century 21, which is a great place to find designer clothing, shoes, jewellery etc. for affordable prices! It can be a little crazy but it’s totally worth it. These lovely glasses are of course my favorite, Michael Kors.
I paired my favorite floral scarf from Urban Outfitters with the red flannel shirt to give it a little something extra. I really love the way they look together, I think I’ll be sporting these two items together more often!
As you have probably already noticed the weather in New York was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It felt like Spring, I could not have asked for better weather. However, I was not expecting such warm weather so I only brought my big heavy coat! I borrowed my sister’s lovely brown leather jacket for the day. Which turned out to look quite lovely. Because I was not expecting such warm weather I am wearing my big winter boots which also kind of worked well with this outfit.
Places to Go in New York:
- Times Square (obviously)
- Ellen’s STARDUST Diner (the waitress sing all night while you enjoy diner food!)
- Century 21 (Designer’s at great prices)
- DSW (Great Shoes!)
- Central Park (That’s a given)
- Brooklyn Bridge
- Madame Tussauds (I mean it’s just cool to see celebrity wax figures, at least once)
- Soho (best shopping)
- All in all you really can’t go wrong when you’re in New York
Happy Tuesday! Hope you all had a lovely weekend!
