Boscia| Luminizing Black Mask

My loves,

I tried yet another mask this week, I know I know you are probably getting tired of my many face mask reviews. However, I just can’t help myself! I love trying new face masks and I especially love trying new Boscia Skin Care face masks. Because they are usually absolutely amazing. I have made it a point to try all of their masks because they are just that incredible. Today I am reviewing Boscia’s Luminizing Black Mask.

A groundbreaking, mineral-rich mask that peels off to deliver powerful detoxifying, purifying, and brightening effects.

IMG_1119 IMG_1109 IMG_1126“This jet-black, mineral-rich mask creates a unique peel-off effect that delivers powerful detoxifying, purifying, and brightening results. Made with a premier-quality clay, its deep-cleansing properties draw out dirt and oil. Other natural ingredients go to work exfoliating skin and refining pores. Powerful antioxidants shrink pores, firm skin, and reduce inflammation. Once dried, the mask strips away dead skin, impurities and excess oil to reveal immediate and visible results.”

I’m not sure why but I wasn’t expecting much from this particular mask, I honestly didn’t expect to love it so much. Firstly, it applies really effortlessly compared to Boscia’s Green Tea Peel-Off mask. And I love that mask! But I much preferred applying the Luminizing Black Mask. It applied evenly with ease. And when it says jet black it means jet black! It in no way does not look black, even when applying it!

You apply the mask with a generous amount evenly to dry, clean skin. Avoid eye area, eyebrow hair, lip and hair line. Leave on for 15-20 minutes, or until completely dry. Gently peel the mask off from the outer edges. Rinse off any residue with warm water. Follow with toner and moisturizer. Mask can be used once or twice a week.

IMG_3184 IMG_3193I did find that this mask is much easier to remove than the Green Tea Peel-Off Mask. All most the entire mask came off in one go. There were a little bits of residue which is to be expected. However, not going to lie, it did kind of hurt removing the mask. Not in a ‘Oh my god I will never use this mask again, removing it was excruciating’, it was more like ‘Oh my god that kind of hurts but I love how I can feel it removing dead skin, dirt and oil’. So all in all it’s pretty freaking amazing. I’m actually annoyed by how much I like it, because now I’m going to have to go out and spend more of my money!

IMG_3274Overall, it is a fantastic mask. After removing it my pores literally looked so clear. You could even see little particles in the mask once I had removed it! As an Esthetician I love stuff like that! I will most definitely be purchasing this mask again. I think it is going to be a new favorite of mine. Psst. I tried this mask last night and I’m writing about it already because I love it so much and could not wait to tell you guys about it!

  1. I’m not tired of face mask reviews at all! I am looking for a really good, moisturizing mask, but one that would work for sensitive skin (not too much fragrance). Do you have any you’d recommend?
