My obsession with lip products continues to grow. I have been reading and hearing about Too Faced New Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick and I knew I had to get my hands on it as soon as I saw it. They have the perfect shade of Dusty Rose which my 90-year-old self obviously loves. It is a beautiful pigment and goes on the lips with ease and perfection.
An intensely saturated lip color with a precise tip applicator.
“The shine of a gloss, lasting power of a stain, and pigment-packed color of a liquid lipstick, all in one high-impact formula. Bold, long-wearing color glides on cleanly with the precision tip applicator, delivering rich color with staying power.”
Melted Liquified Long Wearing Lipstick $21.00
When I first came across this lip product despite the name, I thought it was more of a lip gloss than an actual lip stick. What is great about this lip product is that it applies like a lip gloss but dries and has the staying power of a lip stick. The pigment in these lip sticks is insane. And the name truly suits the product because it literally melts onto your lips and looks beautiful. It has incredible staying power; I applied in the morning, ate, drank coffee and then ate again and it still looked good, just needed to be touched up a tiny bit.
The only downfall about this particular product is it is slightly drying and if you already have dry lips it doesn’t apply well. Make sure your lips are well moisturized and fresh before applying this lipstick. A little tip, put on lip balm first, and then apply your full face and your lips should be lip stick ready by the time your finished with the rest of your makeup.
Isn’t it a fantastic dusty rose-pink? When I saw this shade there was no debate as to which colour to choose. My friends always laugh at me because apparently dusty rose is an old lady colour but I happen to love it. Dusty Rose Pink all around, I love it almost as much as I love floral.
Overall, I love this product. Pigment is amazing, staying power is amazing and application is flawless. It’s just a little drying but you get that with most lip sticks so it doesn’t bother me too much. I would suggest a lip chap underneath or a lip gloss over top if it really bothers you.
Have you tried it? What shade will you choose?
