This past weekend I attended a Wedding and a Bachelorette weekend. Needless to say it was a crazy busy weekend, with lots of dancing and lots and lots of booze. The Wedding I attended was for a very dear friend of mine, so I was very excited to attend. The wedding was in Burlington, where I grew up, so I got to hang out with all my friends and neighbours that I grew up with. They are pretty much family and I love them all very much. Deciding what to wear for this wedding was very difficult, I just couldn’t quite figure out what to wear. My favorite place to find dresses is Urban Outfitters, which is where I found this beautiful black dress that I decided to wear.
The dress is still available at Urban Outfitters and it comes in a variety of different colours. I chose black because well I usually choose black and you really can’t go wrong with a little black dress. The shoes I got for a very good price when I went shopping in New York earlier this year and they are BCBG.
“Breezy chiffon fit & flare dress from Silence + Noise with an open back and adjustable crisscross straps. Topped with a full, flared circle skirt and a high neckline. Hidden zip at the back. Fully lined.”
I decided to go with gold accessories, which I got at all different places. The earrings are from St.Jacobs at this little boutique has the most gorgeous jewellery. I unfortunately do not remember the name of the store, but I promise you can’t miss it when you are there. The bracelet I actually got when I attended prom, so I’ve had it for quite a while and I have no idea where I bought. I’m sorry you are probably all cursing me right now. However, the rings I did get from Elle Hardware which has the best jewellery I can’t even tell you.
The clutch is actually a Kate Spade pencil-case that I got from Indigo, that I decided to use as a clutch because it is so damn cute.
And my hair of course was not done by myself because I am terrible with a curling iron and a blow dryer. One of my very good friends Lisa works at Pure Hair and Color Group in downtown Burlington. So of course I paid her a visit. She did a wonderful job and I got to spend some time chatting with her which is always a good thing. She is incredibly talented and I only wish she lived closer to me!
As you can see my adorable little puppy wanted to come with me and be in all the photos!
