This palette is just absolutely wonderful. I’ve had my eye on this palette for quite some time now. I could not wait to get my hands on it. It’s such a perfect palette for traveling, because it has almost everything you need to complete your makeup look. It also has the perfect colours for fall and I like that there is a combination of both matte and shimmer shadows. The colours are pretty neutral but also have a little bit of spunk to them.
A limited-edition, colored clay eye and cheek palette for day to night looks.
“Inspired by the rain forest’s deep orchid hues at dusk, Tarte’s limited-edition eye and cheek palette has everything you need to create sultry and sophisticated day to night looks. Infused with colored clay, which naturally color-corrects as it supports oil control, this makeup provides longer wear and truer color payoff. This modern ingredient from the mountainous regions of Brazil brightens, evens, and soothes skin, while the velvety formula glides on and delivers rich color—without settling into fine lines and wrinkles.”

I don’t know about any of you but I’m a little obsessed with this palette. I absolutely adore neutral tones and I think they did an outstanding job of creating this palette. You can literally do any look you want with these colours. From a causal day look to a dramatic evening look. You have your blush, bronzer and highlighter! So you can create the perfect sculpted face with a nice bronzed look.
I decided to try the plum/mauve tones since I don’t generally wear shades like this. But I absolutely love them! I generally wear very neutral tones staying within the taupe, brown shades. Since trying these shades I will definitely have to venture out and try new colours for my eyes more often. I didn’t go to heavy on the colours because I wanted more of a day look, but these colours have crazy amazing pigment and you could definitely create an amazing evening look.
I also used the bronzer, blush and highlighter combined with this look. I’m not a huge fan of the bronzer, but I might be biased because I truly love Benefit’s bronzer ‘Hoola’ and I wouldn’t switch to another. I love the blush it’s a nice natural pink, that gives you just enough colour. And the highlighter is perfect for your cheek bones and brow bone. It’s definitely worth the money.
If you like this palette it’s available at Sephora, but it is a Limited Edition palette so don’t miss it! I personally love it and I’m very happy I got my hands on it. The combinations you can make with this palette are wonderful as well are all high quality. I highly recommend this to everyone before time runs out!
