MAC| ‘Twig’ Lipstick

My loves,

So as I think many people do in this world, I have a slight addiction to Pinterest and by ‘slight’ I mean a full-blown addiction. I literally go on it whenever I have a free moment. Now you might say I am wasting my time by doing so. However, I disagree, because I find most of my nail art inspiration from Pinterest and I also find wonderful makeup products that I know I must try. Through my Pinterest exploring I came across a picture of lips with a sensational colour claiming to be MAC’s lipstick in ‘Twig’. Now I saved it in my phone so I would not forget the colour and it took me ages to finally get my hands on it, and my only excuse; laziness. But my wonderful beauty guru’s I finally have it to share with you! And it’s a true gem.

From the moment I laid eyes on this colour I knew it was a must have. It’s one of those wonderful shades of pink that goes with everything. It’s the perfect every day lipstick colour and it even works well for a night out on the town because you don’t have to worry about fading and touch ups. Twig is described as a soft-muted brownish pink, which I think is pretty on point. It’s a gorgeous colour, that brings out the natural colour of your lips. It’s creamy formula makes it extremely comfortable to wear (does not leave the lips feeling dry), has a beautiful satin finish and it smells great! No need for a lip liner, but it does look great with that little extra kick!

IMG_5792I highly recommend this lip colour for anyone obsessed with lip products. It’s a must have for any gal obsessed with neutral toned pinks. And oh those beautiful dusty rose tones, I do love them.

What are you wearing on your lips for Spring?

  1. Love Twig. I think its one of those MAC shades that would look good on anyone. My only complaint is that I can find it a bit dry. I prefer the MAC Lustre finishes.
